This retractor is commonly used for retraction of deep and superficial tissues.
Kolbel self-retaining retractors have a ratchet mechanism that allows you to adjust the distance between the two ends to accommodate different tissue thicknesses and provides better control over the retraction. The retractor has fine, pointed tips for precise tissue manipulation with minimal tissue trauma. The sharp tips ensure a secure grip of the tissue without causing excessive damage or slippage. The small-size retractor is used for a shallower or smaller incision. The longer retractors work better for deeper surgical sites, for access to posterior structures, for larger incisions, or obese patients. The finger-ring handles ensure precise control.
