Description
Babcock Tissue Forceps
Manufactured for optimal results and precision.
- The instrument is used for grasping, holding, and encircling delicate structures such as the ureters, fallopian tubes, bowel, ovaries, and appendices. Had atraumatic forceps with a flared, rounded, hollow end with smooth, flattened tips.
- Babcock forceps are finger-ring, ratcheted, non-perforating forceps used to grasp delicate tissue in laser procedures. They are frequently used with intestinal and laparotomy procedures. Babcock Forceps are similar to Allis Forceps; however, they may be considered less traumatic due to their wider, rounded grasping surface. They are particularly useful for grasping tube-shaped structures. This product is straight and the overall length is 6.4 inches.
- The forceps have a ratchet mechanism and ring handles, and their blades have a triangular orifice, along with a horizontal groove at the terminal in one blade and a ridge in the other blade. When the instrument is closed, the ridge fits into the groove, securing the structure from slipping. The instrument is non-traumatic.
- Manufactured from high-quality medical-grade stainless steel.
- High Degree of Precision and Flexibility while conducting the Clinical Procedure
- High Degree of Aesthetic and Corrosion Resistance.
- The product conforms to ISO 9001, CE-Quality Mark, ISO 13485, and other Quality Standards
